Do You Shop Local????
I have lived in Duvall for almost 20 years. I am not a business owner. I am a local resident and a strong supporter of our local businesses. I guess you would call me an independent. I’m not sure where my passion for supporting local businesses came from. My parents owned a business so I think I saw how the success and failure of a family business not only affected my parents but our entire family. I think people forget that behind every business, there is a business owner and their family they are trying to support. Whether you shop local or not, please take a few minutes to read this article. You might just save a local business.
Do you shop local? If not, why don’t you? Duvall has so much to offer. Do they have everything you will ever need? No. No small town will. But, our businesses have a lot to offer and if you pick a couple of businesses to support regularly, you can make a huge difference. Before you head to a “bigger city” to shop, stop and think, “Can I get this locally?” You might be surprised to discover all that Duvall has to offer.
If you live in Duvall, or a small town, you must have chosen it for a reason. If you would like to keep your small town growing and prosperous, you can’t just live in a small town, you need to shop in it as well!
